Dr. John Lyons
Dr. John Lyons achieved his doctorate of dental medicine at the University of Laval in 1989. In 1991 his relentless academic thirst shifted to focus on orthodontics. He began his orthodontic training at the International Dental Institute in order to recognize and treat orthodontic and orthognathic problems. He then participated in a comprehensive course given by Dr. Richard Litt, the ex-chairman of the Department of Orthodontics of the University of Detroit where he deepened his knowledge of facial growth and development.
He then graduated from the Mid-American Orthodontic Society which has helped him to recognize and treat problems such as temporomandibular joint disorders. Always seeking to improve his clinical skills Dr Lyons trained under the instruction of Dr. Harry Green a teacher of the differential straight arch technique, thus enabling him to do away with the limitations of headgear. He regularly keeps himself updated by attending the world renowned Kesling-Rocke facility in Laporte Indiana.
Dr. Lyons has spent over 800 hours of continuing education in the field of orthodontics. He has gained escalating recognition for his plight and has consequently been invited to conferences, as a speaker in the US and Mexico. He is certified by Align technologies as a competent user of the Invisalign technique as well as Sure-Smile, Clear-Correct and SureCure clear aligners. He currently practices in Châteauguay, Québec.
Dr. Jean-Michel Davignon
Dr. Jean-Michel Davignon graduated from the University of Montreal in 1980. As early as 1981 he began training in orthodontics. Among others with the USDI (United States Dental Institute), FORCE (Faculty of Orthodontic Research and Continuing Education), Mid Continent Othodontics (the differential Straight-Arch Technique taught by Dr Harry Green), Kesling-Rocke group of LaPorte Indiana (the inventors of the Tip Edge technique), as well as courses by Invisalign and SureCure (clear aligners and many others. In all, DrDavignon has attended over 1000 hours of training in the field of Orthodontics.
Dr. Davignon currently prefers to treat cases with clear aligners as nowadays the vast majority of cases can be treated without braces. He practices general dentistry in Town of Mount Royal, Québec.
Dr. Marc Charette
Dr. Marc Charette completed his doctorate in dentistry at the University of Montreal in 1980. His interest in orthodontics led him to follow multiple courses such as those of the International Dental Institute, Force International, Mid Continent for Orthodontic, United States Dental Institute, training on the Tip Edge technique of TP Orthodontic as well as training for treatments with shells (Invisalign, SureCure).
All these continuing education courses have enabled him to obtain the Master in the Academy of General Dentistry. The changes in the smile of his patients are a source of inspiration and motivation in his practice.DrCharette practices in TMR, Québec.
Dr. Patrick Lyons
Dr. Patrick Lyons graduated as a general practitioner from the University of Montreal in 2016. Even before graduation, he very quickly showed an interest for orthodontics. He furthered his orthodontic journey by taking the comprehensive course offered by the Faculté for Orthodontic Research and Continuing Education. He then attended Midcontinent Orthodontics seminars to learn more about the Differential Straight Arch technique.
In addition to conventional metal braces, Dr. Lyons can also use white braces or transparent aligners for more esthetically-conscious patients. Dr. Patrick Lyons continually takes courses to keep up to date with current orthodontic procedures, and considers orthodontics to be one of the most rewarding aspects of his practice. He practices in Châteauguay, Québec.
Dr. David Lelièvre
Dr. David Lelièvre graduated as a general practitioner from the University of Montreal in 1992. He furthered his orthodontic journey by taking the comprehensive course offered by Midcontinent Orthodontics seminars to learn more about the Differential Straight Arch technique.
Currently, Dr. Lelièvre limits his orthodontic practice to clear aligners and interceptive cases.He is an Invisalign Top Provider. He shares his time between both LaSalle and Pointe aux-Trembles dental practices.
